Managing Director
Mark Plunkett. B.A, LL.B. Barrister-At-Law. Litigator, Mediator, Negotiator.
Mark Plunkett is a lawyer who has been in private practice for over 25 years. He is a Harvard University trained negotiator (Advanced Level). He has extensive overseas legal experience having done immigration work in Hong Kong, and worked for the United Nations and the Australian Government in Cambodia. He is knowledgeable in international sale of goods, carriage of goods, financing international transactions, government regimes impacting on overseas trade, international agreements dealing with services trade and multilateral trade agreements. He has also worked in Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and East Timor (where he conducted trade missions for the United Nations reconstruction and co-owed Paximus Lodge). Managing Director
James O'Donnell. BA Chinese and Business.
Having first started studying Chinese in 1994, James had kept his fascination for the culture and language for the past 13 years. Being fluent in Chinese and having the ability to read and write both Traditional and simplified Chinese, it's obvious why he has showed great success with the Chinese market and established several strong relations between Australia and China. His flair for the language and culture is something which is a true asset when conducting business with both regions.

Guangzhou Office Manager
Yuki Qiu. BA, English Translation and Interpretation.
With our second office in Guangzhou China, Yuki plays an important role as one of our Chinese representatives.Yuki leads our QC, Trade Fair Exhibitions, Business Negation Co-Ordination and our team in Chinese research and product sourcing in China. Following her previous work as an export agent, she has gained extensive expirience and aquired the unique ability amongst her Chinese counterparts of working with Australians in exporting from China. We are very lucky to have her with us in the team.

* BA English Translation and Interpretation, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, China.
* Previously managed the export sales of a Chinese based trailer factory, with a large customer base in Australia and New Zealand.
Guangzhou Consultant Officer
Karen Luo. BA, English Culture and Communication.
Cindy has worked in all areas of product research, sourcing, marketing, promotion and export and has an in depth knowledge of Chinese production from the ground up. She has also worked as at the China Export Commodities Fair (Guangzhou) as an organiser, guide and sales representative. She has overseen purchases at the fair and is well acquainted with the fair dynamics. Cindy brings her practical knowledge of the Chinese import export industry and is a real credit to our team.

* BA English Culture, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, China.
* Previously worked as a research and advertising agent for Guangzhou based travel agents and advertising companies as well as working as a guide and organiser at the Guangzhou Export Commodities Fair. Cindy most recently worked as an Editor for a Guangzhou based information and technology commentary monitoring important events in and around Guangzhou, particularly trade fairs. .

Elizabeth Mahoney
Liz's Flair with the Chinese Language and her amazing ability to source product gives AustAsiaCo an unfair advantage. She is brilliant with information based systems and has an extensive knowledge of import and export with the Chinese language and culture. After living in China she is well adapted to the Chinese culture and is very experienced in business negotiations with the region. She is truly an asset to the AustAsiaCo team.
